The graph above illustrates the number of boys and girls who participated in sporting activities namely, tennis, badminton, cycling, swimming, football and hockey

In England in the given period

Overall, more boys engaged in sporting activities than girls, football was the most participated game by boys whiles swimming was the most participated by girls with

hockey been the least indulged by both sex.

Firstly, activities like tennis, cycling , and football were participated by boys more than girls. The number of boys who took part in tennis was 50 as compared to about 35 in girl . In addition, more boys indulged in football than girls , almost thrice the number of girls, this 60 boys to that of 20 girls. Moreover, the number of boys who participated in cycling was about thrice that of girls ; thus about 35 boys to 20 boys. Hockey was almost equally participated by both sex with boys slightly predominated.

On the other hand ,the number of girls who involved in swimming was more than that of boys with girls

recording 50 as to 40 in boys. The number of girls engaged in badminton were more than boys with the number of girls about 40.

In conclusion, the participation of sporting activities in 2012 was almost evenly distributed in gender with boys dominating in three games whiles girls in two games .

Please , Lizy, criticise and mark and let me know my score , thanks

Sorry I don’t comment on writing. But please don’t put a conclusion in writing task 1 – the examiner wants an overview only.

You should look at all TASK 1 MODELS prepared by LIZ. Need to learn how to write a report. This is a report, not essay. If you do this when taking IELTS, you would be given a low score for task 1.
