Answer for Q1. I don’t see children doing enough exercise these days courtesy modern technology. In the past, children used to play in the parks or even at homes the usually would with the traditional games like hide and seek. I think those activities not only taught them competition but also kept them in good health. Now, we see children using mobile phones and they have become addicted to it. They play online games and waste so much time in that they don’t take enough exercise. Besides, they also spend a lot of time chatting with friends online and get too much engrossed that they don’t feel the need of sports. I think this is particularly the case because parents have become too permissive and should a play proactive role in managing their daily routines.
Good answer.
Kids of today hardly get enough exercise due to the following such as long hours of schooling, good transport system to school, keeping them indoors.
To begin with, I think children spend a lot of time with their tutors in school and the activities at school doesn’t include adequate exercise.
Furthermore, most schools provide busses which helps convey these kids in and out of school so children don’t walk to school, walking is a form of exercise which strength us.
Moreover, keeping children in indoors without engaging them with indoor activities will make them dull.
Be careful practicing answers that are written for a speaking test. It is unlikely you will immediately, within just two seconds, think of three points you want to say. When you practice speaking, don’t write your answers as practice. Instead, speak your answers directly into your phone and then write down what you’ve said. Get used to using spoken English that isn’t so well structured with point number 1, 2 and 3.
Usually in speaking, we would start with one point and then explain. If we think of something else after that, we add it on to the end. Also avoid – furthermore, moreover etc – these aren’t common in informal speaking. Don’t forget the speaking test is 100% informal – it’s like chatting with a friend.
Answer Q1: Unfortunately, not all children are getting enough exercise these days. Because With the rise of smartphones, tablets, and video games, many kids spend a lot of time indoors. Also Many children have packed schedules filled with schoolwork and extracurricular activities that don’t involve physical activity.
Answer Q2:Absolutely, exercise is crucial for both physical and mental health. Beyond that, exercise improves mental well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. It can enhance mood, increase energy levels, and improve sleep quality.
Answer Q3:There can be differences in the types of exercise that boys and girls tend to enjoy, but these preferences are often influenced by societal norms and personal interests rather than inherent differences. Also Cultural expectations sometimes steer boys towards sports like football, basketball, or weightlifting, while girls might be more encouraged to participate in activities like dance, gymnastics, or yoga.
Answer Q4:Parents can encourage their children to be more active with a few effective strategies. Children are more likely to be active if they see their parents being active. We can Integrate exercise into fun activities. Organize games, dance sessions, or sports that your kids enjoy. We can Encourage more physical activity by setting limits on screen time for TV, computers, and mobile devices.

I think international sport events are really beneficial in the sense that they foster diversity. Many countries participate together which allows them to understand new cultures and meet new people. It also creates a stage for healthy competition among players in various sports. Olympics, for example, is very famous and I too like watching the matches played their as I get to see players from different countries and how they play.
1. Children do not get as much exercise they need because of gadgets that are readily available to them upon their request. Parents and caregivers alike should build a routine that involves children being active at least 2 hours or more everyday. A simple hike around the park is a good start, make it fun and entertaining for them to keep them interested and make them look forward for the coming days when they have their simple walks.
No. From observation children do not get sufficient exercise. They are seen living more and more of sedentary lifestyle because of technology.
Children no longer enjoy what it means to run around, play different kinds of sports like skipping, jumping and even swimming.
These exercises help to build stamina, maintain stable mental health and physical fitness.
oh my God! my grammar isn’t good at all.
I appreciate your response.

very Useful Madam.
Thanks a lot madam
You’re welcome 🙂
1.I didn’t think so, sadly children don’t do enough exercise these days though they have access to more facilities, the way they live causes lack of interest to do exercise.
This answer would be too short for speaking part 3. This length of answer is more typical for part 1. If you gave this answer in part 3, the examiner would ask you to explain more.
