Your website and articles are really helpful I would say.
I just have a doubt and I wonder if you could help me clarify it:
In a IELTS SPEAKING TEST,
If I got 6 for fluency and coherence, 7 for lexical resources, 7 for grammatical range and accuracy, 7 for pronunciation
Would the final score for the speaking test be 6.5 or 7?
I heard someone saying that if you’ve got a 5 and three 6s, the overall speaking score would be 5.5.
I hope you could help me with this.

Add them together and divide by four. Then round the figure up or down to the nearest 0.5. That is how the scores are calculated.

I am going to take an IELTS test next month. I want to ask you about
assessing criteria of LISTENING and READING modules. Are the answers
checked by computers or by examiners. Should the answer be exactly the
same?
And should we use CAPITAL letters or small case letters? Please reply .

It makes no difference if it is computer or person. There is only one answer or a set number of possible answers for any question – you either have it right or wrong. If you are writing by hand, it is best to use capital letters so that it is easy to read.

Your website is the best resource for IELTS preparation, I believe. But the only problem I find is it’s difficult to find the content. Actually, I am going to take the test very soon and I really have less time to prepare. So I am finding it difficult to find the content. Please organize your website in a more better way so that it would become the best. The content is already best, the only organization has to be improved. I suggest you to get some help from an experienced computer websites engineer. I hope you will think and work about it.

Seems good.
However i think ‘on the day tips’ could be the 3rd or 4th tab. So that someone new can go in a particular order on the headers.

The new Red bar is useful, it might take some getting used to, especially since the information on the various tests is now on the drop bar. It is still very useful.

Please check ” free lessons and tips ” section on the Red menu bar is not working.. It is shown as blocked whenever i clicked on it.
That is correct. You select the section of the test you want to learn – it is drop down menu for the lessons.

See the free lessons for speaking which has a free video about improving your speaking at home. For writing, it is more difficult. Complete my free lessons and tips – also prepare topics and ideas. Writing is more difficult to improve without a teacher, but it is possible to you analyse model essays etc – see the free lessons section.

I have scheduled my exam next month for IELTS GT and I am going through the videos you posted since a week now but I found these videos way too old, can you tell me how can i get new videos of Writing or if there is any change in writing pattern over last 3 years as these videos are 3 years old on your website.
